What is our Platinum cover?
Cover all mechanical and electrical components (including expensive parts, such as electric car batteries) with our Platinum cover. It’s your guard against unexpected repair costs. You also get full European Roadside Assistance, including UK home start, misfuelling, and key protection.
What does the Platinum Service Contract include?
Be confident in what’s covered in your Platinum package with the details below. As well as the regular engine, brakes and steering cover, we also cover more expensive car components, such as EGR valves, catalytic converters, diesel particulate filters (DPFs), hybrid batteries and many more.
- Engine & transmission failures
Whether the result of a snapped timing belt or turbocharger issues, we cover a wide range of engine and transmission failures on both manual and automatic vehicles. - Engine cooling system
Radiator leaks, water pump failure and thermostat faults are all covered, helping protect your engine from overheating. - Hybrid & electric vehicle components
Hybrid batteries are notoriously expensive to replace without cover. But, with our Platinum cover it’s one less thing to worry about.
- Suspension & steering
From a power steering failure to shock absorber wear, the Platinum package covers you for various suspension and steering issues. - Braking system
Addressing an ABS pump failure or brake caliper issue as soon as they arise is essential to keep your brakes functioning safely. - Battery cover
Battery cover for the first 6 months, or 6000 miles of the cover start date, whichever occurs first. - Diagnostics
Contribution of up to £150 Inc. VAT for diagnostics.

Air conditioning, in-car entertainment, satellite navigation (sat nav) and driver interface systems are all covered. - Fuel system
From an EGR valve blockage to a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) failure, we cover the essential fuel system issues to get you back up to full power in no time. - Wheel bearing
Wheel bearing, intake manifold and coil spring cover on vehicles up to 6 years old, or 70,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
